DFS Sun Plaza, Canton Road, Hong Kong - Retail A&A, Façade Upgrade & MTR Tunnel renovation.

Steve was appointed by Woods Bagot to Lead the design development of DFS Canton Road of a Concept by Malherbe Paris. The project was to refine the interior details to match the concept, develop the intent, meeting statutory requirements, DFS aesthetic and performance standards. Digital LED displays are used throughout interior retail and this visual and sonic experience assists in unifying the existing fragmented vertical circulation. The Facade upgrade on Canton and Peking road evokes the Tung Lau of Old Hong Kong. Reinterpreting the essence of Hong Kong Vernacular architecture, this project aims to identify a place specific design that will link to the traditions of the city, and define DFS’ future identity and evolution.

The MTR Tunnel renovation invites the public along the LED experiential pathway into the store. Multiple digital displays are joined together to form a continuous  media wall. This high quality visual and interactive experience welcomes the customers into the retail experience.
