Steve Palmier Architecture worked with ORCA Creative to produce the design for the BC Showcase and Hosting Centre in Robson Square, Vancouver.
The intent is to upgrade the existing Arthur Erickson building with a design that will tell the story of BC, its place as Canada's Pacific Gateway and will include its ability in innovation, creativity, sustainability, advanced technology and liveability. It will also have a space for presentations and receptions, and hosting area.
The design incorporates BC materials, technology, themes and styles into the display systems and multimedia content for these spaces and incorporates the latest thinking on sustainability and sustainable practices.
