Restaurant Design: "The Vault"
Cloverdale, Surrey, BC

The Vault Restaurant reuses and adapts a previously used bank in Cloverdale, Surrey, BC and makes use of the old vaults as a part of the dining experience. From the entry, the patron is invited into the waiting area with warm cosy fireplace or to the old bank vault to enjoy pre-dinner drinks. The existing heavy wood trusses hovering 10 feet above, the wood ceiling and wood walls are exposed. With views into the new stainless steel kitchen this results in a warm inviting dining experience.

The 3,300sqft redevelopment allows for 80 patrons, with dining, bar area, kitchens, and washrooms.

Completion: Summer 2006.
